Villa de Hught is a beautiful, characterful and detached country house located on the edge of the popular Zuidduinen. What a beautiful property! The appearance is charming, romantic and full of character, but inside the house is surprisingly modern while retaining authentic details. From the street side there are two fairytale stairs towards the large garden that surrounds the house, at one of these entrances you can park three cars on site, which is handy in Noordwijk aan Zee. The garden has several terraces, one of which is always in the sun. Due to the dense vegetation and the difference in height compared to the street, there is a lot of privacy.

Upon entering the house we are greeted in a spacious hall with beautiful sliding glass doors towards the living room. The living room is light thanks to the many windows and there are no less than three pairs of patio doors towards the garden that ensure that the living room and the terraces are in direct connection with each other. The large see-through gas fireplace can be admired from two sides so that the living room and dining area can enjoy the atmosphere and warmth. The kitchen is equipped with luxury appliances and a beautiful stove with two ovens and five gas burners. The kitchen has access to a pantry with connections for washing and drying. As a surprise, this property has a wine cellar, currently used as storage.

The bedroom with en-suite bathroom can be found in the old horse stable, a large bedroom with a high pointed roof, a spacious walk-in closet, and a loft with a yoga studio. This bedroom makes it possible to live on the ground floor.

On the first floor there are four more bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony with a beautiful view over the Oude Zeeweg. The attic provides enough storage space and a second full floor could possibly be created here by installing a fixed staircase and a rearrangement.

Garden
The garden surrounds the house on three sides (west, north and east) with several sunny terraces, sitting areas and access to a wooden shed at the rear of the house. The garden can be reached from the living room, the utility room, the conservatory and the entrance.

Ground floor
Entrance with meter cupboard, hall with stairs to the floors and access to the living room, toilet, study/office and wine cellar. The living room has a large see-through gas fireplace with an opening on two sides so that the warmth and cosiness can be enjoyed in the living room and from the dining table. From the living room there are three patio doors towards the garden. The kitchen is located at the rear of the house and is fully equipped. There is a large stove with five gas burners and a double oven, an American model refrigerator with chilled water dispenser, a built-in coffee maker, oven and microwave, a dishwasher and there is more than enough cupboard space. From the kitchen we enter the utility room / pantry. Here is an extra sink and the washing machine and dryer are neatly built into the cupboard wall.

On the other side of the entrance there is access to a study/office with a fireplace, enough space for a home office and there is access to the conservatory with side garden, now used as a studio. From the office there is access to a hall (with skylight) that connects the utility room to the studio, there is a storage cupboard where the central heating boiler hangs and then a large bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The bedroom was realized in the old horse stable and is very luxurious with a large walk-in closet, a loft that now houses a yoga room and the en-suite bathroom has a separate toilet, a double sink, skylight and a shower cabin with sun shower.

First floor
Central landing with access to a bathroom (shower, toilet), four bedrooms and to the attic via loft ladder. There are three bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and their own sink, one of which has access to the balcony. The fourth bedroom has fitted wardrobes, a beautiful dormer window and access to a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, sink and a bathtub.

Attic
The attic can be reached via a loft ladder and offers plenty of storage space.
